The term “All-on-X” refers to “all” of your teeth being supported “on X” number of implants (usually 4, 5, or 6). Rather than placing individual implants for every missing tooth, this method uses a few strategically placed implants to support a full dental bridge or prosthesis. Two implants are placed vertically in the front of the jaw where bone is typically strongest, and two to four are placed at angles in the back to maximize contact with existing bone, often eliminating the need for bone grafting.
This technique is backed by decades of clinical success and is especially beneficial for patients with low bone density, failed bridgework, or who are fed up with traditional dentures.
